Interstate 5 ramp closure in Kelso begins August 7

From WA State Dept. of Transportation
Drivers who use the northbound Interstate 5 off-ramp to Kelso Drive, SR 432 and Old Pacific Highway 99 (exit 36A) in Kelso should plan for a complete closure of the ramp from 7 p.m. Friday, August 7 to 6 a.m. Wednesday, August 12. Additionally, motorists approaching the intersection from Kelso Drive, eastboundSR432 /Tennant Way, and Old Pacific Highway 99 will need to use alternate routes.

During the closure contractor crews working for the Washington State Department of Transportation will construct a compact roundabout and pave the intersection. The newly build roundabout will make it easier for traffic to merge, improving safety and reducing the risk of serious collisions.
Drivers should use alternate routes and allow additional travel time during the closure. Get real-time traffic information on their phone with the WSDOT traffic app, the WSDOT Southwest Region Twitter feed, or the travel alerts page.
